After School Counselor
We are seeking individuals with experience working with school-aged children to join our Arts Reaching Youth after school team. The position is part-time and requires afternoon and early evening availability through the end of June. If interested, please email fbawah@brooklynmusicschool.org
Arts Reaching Youth Director
The Arts Reaching Youth (ARY) Director is responsible for the development, management, and success of the Arts Reaching Youth after-school program for students grades K-5, including Winter and Spring Break Camps and Summer Camps. This includes creating class schedules, hiring faculty and staff, coordinating pick ups and dismissals, communicating with families, and monitoring staff performance throughout the program. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a knowledge of best practices in arts administration and classroom management, and a high degree of arts education and experience. The ARY Director is expected to play an active and flexible role, maintain a consistent on-site presence during program hours, and provide support to the Programming team as needed to ensure that BMS programs are delivered to excellent standards.
Summer Internship Program
Brooklyn Music School provides a variety of accessible music programming in the Ft. Greene neighborhood. Each Summer we hire three creative, and eager interns to join our team. Internship focus varies between areas such as Development, Programming, Marketing, Outreach, and Education.
