Summer Classes
Join us at Brooklyn Music School this Spring with our music and movement classes for young children! Winter Trimester classes begin Tuesday, January 6th. Click below to register for a trial class and learn more information!
Music Explorers (2 - 4.11 years)
Saturdays 11:00am - 11:45am
Beginning July 11th! In this music class, instructors will introduce basic musical concepts and terms such as finding the beat, demonstrating the difference between high sounds and low sounds through movement, hearing the difference between fast/slow, and loud/soft. This will be accomplished through the use of Traditional songs, World music, Popular music, instrument play, singing, expressive movement, and listening. Our trained instructors will implement interactive lessons while complementing the class with musical accompaniment and demonstration. Using Echo Songs, Finger Play, and Movement, students will be exposed to various musical styles and instruments including percussion instruments and pitched instruments.
Trial Classes & Registration Fees
Trial Classes
We invite families to participate in one Trial Class before they sign up for the Trimester.
Students who would like to participate in a Trial Class need to email registrar@brooklynmusicschool.org at least 24 hours in advance.
There is a $39 fee for all Early Childhood Trial Classes.
After the Trial Class, students must enroll for the Trimester or try a different class.
Registration Fee
Students (new and continuing) must pay a one-time registration fee of $40 per student for the Academic Year 9/2025 - 8/2026.
