Classical Ensembles
Explore the tradition of classical music in one of our ensemble offerings. These ensembles give private lesson students the opportunity to take their solo practice into the ensemble setting.
*All BMS ensembles are free if a child is enrolled in private lessons!
String Orchestra i
This beginning ensemble is for young string players looking for a supportive group ensemble environment. Students will work on technique, communication, musicality, and sight reading. Some previous knowledge/skill is required (approx. Suzuki Book 1 level minimum).
Youth Chamber Ensemble
This ensemble is an ideal setting for intermediate students looking to explore chamber music repertoire. Students will work on technique, communication, musicality, and sight reading. Previous experience on the instrument is required (approx. Suzuki Books 3-4 level for string players).

Youth Choir
For students of all ages and experience, the BMS Youth Choir gives students the opportunity to sing with their peers! In a supportive and encouraging environment, students will learn basic vocal techniques and solfege through vocal warm ups, and learn ensemble-singing techniques and basic part-singing techniques through a variety of contemporary and traditional repertoire.
