Anna Waiter

Anna Waiter (she/her) is a teaching artist, playwright, composer/lyricist, performer. She also teaches at The Play Group Theatre, and has previously taught at Child’s Play NY and From Stage to Screen. She managed the theatre and dance departments at Camp Tevya, an overnight camp in New Hampshire, for four summers, and has worked extensively teaching babies, toddlers, and preschoolers as a location manager at My Gym.

She is thrilled for the opportunity to combine her passions for early childhood programming and theatre education at BMS! Anna’s work as a theatre educator has inspired her to create great roles for young women, and in particular she hopes to publish her work for amateur rights. She continues to perform, predominantly in the development of new works. She holds a BFA in Music Theatre from The Hartt School.
