Musical Theatre at Brooklyn Music School

Musical Theatre - Saturday Children’s Intensive

Brooklyn Music School’s Musical Theatre Program is a 17-week course, which explores the process of putting a show on its feet! Actors will be cast, rehearse, and perform a new musical theatre work in our own BMS theater.

This program is open to all performers ages 7-14. Rehearsals will be led by world-class instructors with backgrounds in musical theatre, opera, dance, and performance. In addition, there will be other opportunities in other BMS events throughout the semester!

The Musical Theatre program is defined by the philosophy that through teamwork, every child can find their creative voice, combined with intensive training in both acting and vocal performance.

Previous productions include: "Annie Jr", "Cupid's Arrow", "Little Red Riding Hood" , "To Dream a World", "A Shepherd's Tale", “Alida and the Hummingbird” , and “That Musical about a Helper Unicorn”.

Comprehensive, friendly, and exciting, this is the perfect way to introduce your kids to performance and the art of theatre!
