Group Guitar Classes
BMS group lessons help establish a foundation for playing the
instrument while introducing students to a range of musical traditions
and techniques.
Most importantly, the classes help instill a love of music that will last a lifetime. Group lessons for the younger students are filled with fun activities to help keep them engaged in the class. They are a natural stepping stone to private guitar instruction with BMS's world-class guitar faculty.
Group lessons cover fundamentals, including:
Proper fretting and picking hand techniques
Playing in a group environment
Note reading and note recognition on the fretboard
Introduction to chords
Learning songs
Music appreciation
Fall 2020 SESSION
Group Guitar Academic Year
Session Dates: 9/12/20 - 6/19/21
Day + Time: Saturdays from 12:10pm - 1:10pm
Duration: 60 Minutes
Ages: 6 - 9 years old
Fee: $22/drop in session, $646/academic year ($17/class)

Group Guitar Introduction
Session Dates: 9/12/20 - 1/30/21
Day + Time: Saturdays from 11:00am - 12:00pm
Duration: 60 Minutes
Ages: 6 - 9 years old
Fee: $22/drop in session, $323/semester ($17/class)
*This class is only for one semester. If the student wants to continue in group class for the next semester, they can transfer into the Group Guitar - Academic Year class if there is a space on the roster.
