The historic 266-seat Brooklyn Music School Playhouse is available for rental. Conveniently located in the Downtown Brooklyn/BAM Cultural District, the theater's facilities can accommodate a wide range of performing arts events such as concerts, dance and music recitals, community meetings, educational seminars, plays and other disciplines. The theater has hosted commercial and movie shoots and was most recently used as a location for a NYU graduate thesis film. The Playhouse features a Spanish-style proscenium theater, rusticated walls, wrought iron chandeliers, and Romeo and Juliet balconies flanking the stage.
