Patrick Burns is a composer, conductor, pianist, actor, playwright and activist. He's performed off-Broadway, regionally and in national tours. His plays have been produced off-Broadway and regionally and his writing has been featured online in The Atlantic, The Chronicle for Social Change, and Stage Agent.
Burns was awarded two Syracuse Area Local Theatre Awards as Music Director of the year for his work on musicals featuring casts made up of professionals, community members, at-risk youth and mentally challenged adults (Carousel and Dreamgirls).
Burns was the Assistant Conductor on the 2nd national tour of Spamalot the musical, playing of over 250 performances in 153 cities in the US and Canada. He has conducted pit orchestras in regional productions on both coasts and is the star and creator of the one-man-musical From Foster Care to Fabulous which has played to enthusiastic audiences nationwide, most recently at the New York International Fringe Festival.
