Group Cello - Suzuki Book 1

Group class is offered to students who are taking private lessons and are currently a beginner pre-twinkle student or in Suzuki book one. This class meets once a week and is an hour long. Group class offers students a chance to play music with their peers in an ensemble setting. Students will have a chance to review repertoire learned in private lessons, reinforce technique, perform in a small group setting, and play music games. The group class serves many pedagogical purposes, some of the main benefits are: 

1. The development of good listening skills when performing in a group setting.

2. Creating a nurturing, supportive, and encouraging community of students and their families.

3. Generating a strong incentive to practice and improve.

4. Review repertoire.

5. Reinforce lesson plans.

6. Rhythmic training.

7. Note reading

Ages: 5 to 7

Fee: $8.00/class BMS private lesson students and $10.00/class for non-BMS private lesson students
