Dionisia Rigby

Dance Teacher: Creative Movement, Hip Hop and Tap

Dionisia Rigby received a BA in Early Childhood Education in 2010 from the University of Hartford, her MS in Childhood Education in 2013 from Brooklyn College, and her MA in Dance Education 2016 in New York University. She has been dancing on and off since elementary school. She was the Vice President and lead choreographer of the hip hop dance team at the University of Hartford. She currently teaches dance at P.S. 132X in the Bronx. She also does African, Tap, Caribbean and Creative Movement. She is excited to continue the journey of teaching young children the wonders of dance at Brooklyn Music School.
