Summer / Holiday Institute Dance & Music Program
The Brooklyn Music School offers during the School Recess and Summer programs for children and youth ages 5 and up. They participate in week long sessions of dance and music. Where they can explore an array of different styles in dance and music . We encourage participants to be involved in learning new steps E.g. Tap - Jazz and Salsa. They also can familiarize thenselves with the musical instruments and learn to recognize musical notes and what makes up an ensemble or orchestra .
All sessions are full days, with morning activities taking place at our facility - located at 126 St. Felix St. In the afternoons Afternoon trips are offered to explore the city and visit cultural institutions, historical landmarks and learn about the rich cultrual programs offered throughout New York City.
