Saturday, June 18, The Brooklyn Music School presents:
"The World In Our Block" with a dance performance at 1:00pm & a music concert at 5pm in our Playhouse theater.
The Brooklyn Music School is going around the world and back to celebrate the musical and dance cultures found around the world and in the immediate NYC community. The Brooklyn Music School, recognizes the importance of serving a diverse community and being a multicultural institute. The students and our diverse faculty will perform musical pieces and dances from many of the cultures that represent the "World In our Block."
On this day we will also have a special performance from our students with special needs. Ramil Hirsawa, age 10 and Hanan Hirsawa, age 9, are sister and brother, both with limited sight from birth will take the stage to play the piano and perform along with Otoniel Trujillo, age 9, who has spinal bifida and is hearing impaired. Please show your support for our students and staff by coming to our shows and being apart of our audience.
The tickets are $10.00, advanced purchase & $15.00 at the door. They can be purchased online through iseats.net - PayPal or in the office.
The Brooklyn Music School has entered it's 99th year of serving the Fort Greene and Downtown Brooklyn Cultural District, joins us as we turn the corner into our centennial year of 2012!
