He may be the Finest piano player in Brooklyn - a city cop who found his musical calling while walking a beat.
Chris Yip was on patrol near the Brooklyn Music School in Fort Greene three years ago when he had a life-changing experience.
"I heard students playing piano, and I just wanted to go and discover," said Yip, 31, who signed up for weekly lessons.
Practicing up to two hours a day, he's gotten so good at tickling the ivories that his colleagues at the 88th Precinct nicknamed him Yip-erace.
