Yaaki Levy

Yaaki Levy is a native of Jerusalem.

He studied drums at the Jerusalem Academy of Music as well as at the metronome school of drumming in Tel-Aviv and continued his music studies at Berklee College of music. He has performed at numerous international festivals, including Jerusalem, Montreal, Nice, Barcelona, Madrid, Rio, and The Red Sea; playing, among others with the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, Potsdam Chamber Orchestra, Kedma trio, Achinoam Nini, Tyner, Kenny Werner, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Danny Maseng ("Soul On Fire), Jake Ehrenreich ("A Jew Grows in Brooklyn"), Dan Gottfried, , Noa  and "The Yellow Submarine Ensemble" . Yaaki lives in the East Village, New York, and is currently working on a new solo album  and teaching Drums, Piano and Composition in the New York Metro area.
