Cathy Richards

Cathy Verdicia Richards grew up in Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. She received her BFA in Arts Management from C.W. Post LIU, with a concentration in Dance. She is co-founder of Movement in C, LLC, which currently supports her own choreography and the Salma Allam Dance Theatre. She has performed professionally as a Dancer/Actor in Theatre and Dance Companies for the past 10 years. A her choreography been showcased throughout the city in solo shows and festivals. She has taught all levels of modern dance, ballet, hip hop, and tap and is a dedicated teacher, committed to the development of childrens personalities, personal growth, and strong versatile technique.
